Somewhere along the line popular music became trite, generic and predictable. Trapped in conventional formulas, the market is flooded with one-hit wonders who ride in on coattails and bring nothing new to the table. Style is rampant and substance is greatly lacking. This makes for a treacherous musical landscape where talent is subverted by image and fashion flair. When originality and integrity become luxuries and not necessities, musical horizons begin to shrink along with the realm of creative possibilities.
Our goal is to support creative and talented independent artists in and out of the Atlanta area, and assist them in getting their music out by releasing, distributing, and/or promoting their records. |
